Jodie Lee Chipperfield - Principal

IDTA Associate, DipTCL 

Jodie was born in Jersey and she began dancing at the age of 3.

At the age of 16, Jodie gained a place to train at one of the UK's top Performing Arts Schools, Bird College.

After Graduating in 2010, Jodie went on to work in the professional world as a Singer, Dancer and Actress onboard cruise liners and in touring shows and pantomimes. 

Jodie is a qualified IDTA teacher holding a Level 4 diploma in both Free Style Dance and Ballet as well as a national Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology.

Jodie wanted to share her experience and knowledge of the performing arts world with the children of Jersey. She wanted to create a school where students can come and learn all three disciplines under one roof. And so in 2014 JLPA, Jodie Lee Performing arts Academy was born.

Sarah Tunnah  

Sarah grew up singing, dancing and acting in Sydney, Australia, taking part in many stage shows, short series, films and adverts. She started teaching dance at the age of 15, specialising in Jazz and Lyrical dance. She auditioned successfully for a tertiary institution and graduated 4 years later with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts (Performance), and then underwent a diploma of education, majoring in the Performance Arts with a minor in English and Psychology. Sarah opened a performing arts school in Sydney which quickly became her passion, until she moved to Jersey in May, 2017. Sarah is excited about sharing her knowledge in drama, singing and dance with the students at JLPA.

Beth Moignard   

Beth was born in Jersey and went to her first dance class at 3 years old.

At 18, she accepted a place at Northern Ballet School in Manchester where she gained a National Diploma in Dance. After graduating in 2013, Beth embarked on her professional career, dancing around the world with both Costa and MSC Cruise lines.

Beth is also a IDTA qualified teacher holding a Level 4 Diploma in Ballet and a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology.
